De Castelli

RIPPLE Cabinet

The Ripple cabinet is the perfect synthesis of the artistic vision of the designer, inspired by the fluidity and adaptability of water, and the texture of metal, expertly worked by the company. The result is a sinuous, polymorphous volume in which soft lines generate reflections upon a metal surface shaped by the artisan processes of De Castelli. Though it appears impenetrable, the cabinet reveals two storage spaces within, like a treasure chest, hidden from sight thanks to the concave fronts which have been designed to open 180 degrees. Like an object sculpted and polished by the slow, continuous undulating movement of water, Ripple is a sculpture to admire from all angles, walking around it to follow its defining curves, the reverberations of metal, and the shadows tempered by its surfaces.

Overall dimensions: W 88 x D 86 x H 160cm

Lead-Time is 20-22 weeks for this product.

For cleaning and maintenance only use a cotton cloth dampened with water or specific neutral products for varnished surfaces. Do not use abrasive cloths, solvents, alcohol or strong detergents. Dry the surface thoroughly in case of standing water.

De Castelli

HARD COUTURE

Faithful to its decision to reinstate the special role of metal in design and experimentation, De Castelli infuses artisan ideas and workmanship into industrial processes, producing entirely original results. The encounter with design inspires an approach to materials founded upon respect for their potential, be it hidden or obvious, which emerges slowly in a collection of pieces that, despite being part of a series, remain unique.
Unique not only for the hand that has created them, but also for the singular cultural path that focuses on the aesthetic (and not just practical) value of the primordial material with which De Castelli shapes living spaces.
