Mosman Art Deco Apartment
Inspired by the glamour and elegance of Art Deco design, this Mosman apartment renovation reimagines the era for contemporary living. Led by House of O’Connell, the project seamlessly weaves period-inspired detailing with modern functionality.
We are proud to have designed and supplied unique furniture pieces and custom joinery for this project, that honour the apartment’s Art Deco heritage while introducing a refined, contemporary touch.
The result is a harmonious living environment where iconic Art Deco elements meet modern craftsmanship, creating a timeless and elegant home in the heart of Mosman.
Living Room
The living room features a scuptural SHAPES Coffee Table with a Pietra Grey marble top, paired with a green velvet SHAPES Ottoman.
The wall-mounted SLIM Sideboard creates a clean and modern TV Unit, while the custom joinery with bevelled doors introduces subtle detailing that enhances the room’s refined, Art Deco character.
Master Bedroom
The AURA Wardrobe features linen-textured wallpaper doors with a slim aluminium frame. Thanks to integrated 180° soft-closing pivot hinges, the doors can stay open without extending into the room.
Originally designed for this project and now part of our furniture collection, the SOLARA Bedside Table features soft curves, a marble top and two spacious drawers for elegant and practical bedside storage.
Guest Bedroom
The guest bedroom features a custom wardrobe with sliding doors, designed to maximise storage and provide easy access in the compact space. Its sleek, tailored design blends seamlessly with the room’s refined aesthetic.
Our Special Metal Finishes feature hand-applied metallic paints and patinas, sealed with a satin clear coat for durability, making them perfect for kitchens and other bespoke joinery.
