This is a hands on and varied creative role combining content creation, social media, graphic design and marketing.

You'll be involved in everything from creating short form photo and video content to designing product presentations, editing Reels, preparing Instagram posts and updating content across our websites.

You'll also work alongside photographers and other creatives on larger product and project photoshoots, helping with planning, preparation, styling and creative direction.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Creating, photographing, filming and editing content for Instagram, our websites and other marketing channels including products, projects, installations and behind-the-scenes content
• Creating and scheduling Instagram Reels, Stories and posts including caption
• Designing client presentations, product materials, brochures and other brand collateral
• Preparing layouts and graphics for new product and collection launches
• Working with professional photographers on larger product, project and lifestyle photoshoots, including assisting with planning, styling and creative direction.
• Creating and updating website content, including products, projects and journal/news updates
• Helping maintain and further develop a consistent visual identity across Cober Studio, Cober Collective and PROFILEA
• Occasionally attending installations, projects and shoots around Melbourne and Sydney
• Identifying opportunities for collaborations and connecting with relevant brands, designers and businesses
• Managing, selecting and editing content supplied by our international brands and suppliers
• Using and implementing AI tools where appropriate to improve content creation, design, editing, research and day to day creative workflows

We're looking for someone who:

• Has a strong visual and creative eye
• Has a genuine interest in furniture, interiors, architecture and design
• Has graphic design skills and a good understanding of typography, layout and branding
• Is confident creating short-form photo and video content
• Is comfortable using Adobe Creative Suite or similar design software
• Has experience with photo and video editing
• Is comfortable using AI tools and interested in exploring how they can improve creative workflows and content production
• Is comfortable collaborating with photographers and other creatives
• Can work independently and turn ideas into finished content
• Is organised and comfortable managing a regular content schedule
• Has good written communication skills
• Is proactive and comfortable working in a small, entrepreneurial environment
• Is interested in learning and getting involved beyond their core responsibilities

Previous experience in graphic design, interiors, architecture, furniture, fashion or another design-focused industry would be highly regarded.

Formal marketing qualifications aren't essential. We're much more interested in your portfolio, visual style, creativity and ability to produce beautiful, considered content and design work.
